Hi! I’m Allie

I never would’ve guessed that I would be here living my best life helping people travel the world as a career!  Maybe I should have known that my path would be windy when I changed my major five times during college, but all the twists and turns have finally lead me to something I am truly passionate about…being a travel advisor and helping YOU explore the world!

Like most people, I started college with dreams of some crazy cool job that didn’t really exist..maybe a marine biologist studying the great barrier reef while scuba diving; or heading to small villages in Africa building water purification systems (yes, I was an engineering major for a whole year!). But eventually, I found my calling as an accountant and loved it!  I traveled all over the country and the world working on different transactions as a CPA and must admit that I got quite a rush out of the fast-paced life that was working at a public accounting firm and then an investment bank!  (Does anyone else seeing all the travel hints I never saw through my journey?)

But then came the best chapter in my life, meeting my wonderful husband, Jason, and settling down with our three amazing children, John, Matt, and Anna!  The career was put on hold, but the travel bug never left me. If my husband traveled, we traveled with him, and by the time John was three years old we were on our first international trip to Italy!  Millions of questions from friends about HOW?! or WHY!? but every one of those experiences made me better able to be the right person for the job I didn’t know was coming!

As my friends say, I’m able to make a short story long…it turns out that my long stories about my travels found me meeting with other like minded people who encouraged me to jump both feet into the travel advisory business and start Luxe Adventures! 

So, now my passion is my career, and my career is my passion!  I travel the world to learn about the amazing adventures that are out there, and then get to share my experiences (both good and bad) to help YOU create you own treasured memories of travel!
